In the summer of 2006 I got an apartment near the beach in Santa Monica, California. Santa Monica is famous among other things for its very large population of homeless people, and over the course of the next few years I got to know several of them and learn their life stories. One day I decided to grab a camera and start filming. This movie is the result.
I am thrilled to announce that the film will be released on iTunes on January 9, 2012! I'm also working on making it available on Netflix. In the runup to the release I will be blogging here about story of how the film was made, and a lot of things that didn't make it into the final cut. Watch this space!
